Ski Hire

There are plenty of ski hire shops around the resort, although we find the most helpful, and cheapest, is the shop nearest to our apartment at l’Ariondaz, Sport Gliss. This is the first shop you get to as you walk down the road from our Ariondaz apartment, situated on the right hand side, just before the Sherpa minimarket. Beginners can get fitted out with a pair of skis, boots and poles for about €70 per person; intermediate equipment will cost from about €85. The staff are very friendly, and will allow you to change your skis and equipment during the week. So, if you find your boots don’t fit, or just want to try a different set of skis, or change to a board, they will happily help. You can find more details on their website.

We have made special arrangements with two shops, to benefit all our guests, whichever apartment you stay in. For those staying at l’Ariondaz, we recommend Sport Gliss. Their prices are very competitive, and they will give you 20% discount off all equipment hired from them.

For those staying at Le Marquis, there are several ski shops within easy reach, including Gilbert Sports which is on the ground floor of the building itself. They will give you 20% discount off all equipment hired from them. However we would always suggest using Sport Gliss, as they represent excellent value for money, and are so helpful to all our clients.
